Why are you involved in church? I 'm involved in the church because I love Jesus and, so, I'm called to hang out with others that love him, too.

What are some of your passions? I'm passionate over my wife and sons, my dog Sunny, living each day to the fullest, learning to cope with and even laugh about the craziness of life, about people and the potential in their lives (even those that are currently pretty broken), beautiful sunrises and sunsets and the Rocky Mountains, the Ohio State Buckeyes, jogging, reading the Bible daily, and Jesus Christ!!

What are some of your favorite things? Going for a walk in the morning with my wife and our dog, driving with Shirley to Estes Park for some caramel corn (with nuts), winning at Fantasy Football, serving the Living God, long road trips, golfing and frolfing with my sons, having a great credit score, really good coffee and ice cream, and being alive.

Family? Shirley and I have been married for 35 years, have two grown sons, Zachary (23) and Micah (20) and a great extended family that mostly lives in northeastern Ohio.

Favorite Books: The Bible (I really mean it), historical novels about the Civil War (especially those written by Michael and Jeffrey Shara).  I like to read books that describe the character of great men and women in history.  I want to know what made them tick.

Favorite Music:  All kinds but I'm sort of picky in every area whether it's classical, rock and roll, country or worship.  I'm a child of the 60's with all that great music that's still being played today.   Some of my favorites are Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Brian Doerksen, Third Day, Hillsong, Owl City (bet you don't know about them!!) - musicians and groups that sing with passion, honesty and heart.

Favorite Movies:  Cinderella Man, Saving Private Ryan, Open Range, Seabiscuit, Gran Torino - you get the picture.  Anything that stirs me to be a good man and to have a positive impact on those around me!!

Pastor Cheryl

Why are you involved in ministry?  I believe that the church can be a place where people can come together to experience in a corporate setting the love and grace of our Heavenly Father. To be able to worship alongside others is amazing and it is also more than amazing to witness when someone 'gets' what Jesus really did on the cross for THEM! I know that God has a place for me in the church; to walk alongside the families and children and equip them with tools to grow more as believers, family and individuals in all that God has for them.

What are some of your passions?  My husband and kids! I love to read, to have time alone, travel and experience new things!

What are some of your favorite things? Isn't this a song?? I don't know, I do like raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens but those aren't really my favorite things. I think mine would be having coffee with a friend, watching a movie with my family, reading a good book, and keeping my desk cleared off for more than one week!

Family? My wonderful husband, Brian, who makes me laugh and encourages me to not take life so serious. He is also my partner in life and ministry. We have two awesome daughters, Shannyn and Ashlyn.

Favorite Books: I love suspense type books. Lately it's been Steven James books. I also like books that reveal to more of who God is, books that show me an intimacy with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Favorite Music: If you can give me a little hip-hop that woudl be great! As far as worship music - I do love Hillsong music.

Favorite Movies:  My all-time favorite animated movie is "Finding Nemo". I don't know, there are so many differnty types and movies that it is hard to nail down a "favorite". I like action and suspense movies mostly.

Pastor Bryan

Bryan Vincent has been the pastor of Unite Student Ministries since March 2007. Bryan is a Loveland native who started following Jesus in high school through Good Shepherd's youth ministry. Not only did he meet Jesus at church, he also met Angie, his future wife! Following High School, Bryan felt called to ministry and began interning here while attending CSU. In 2000, he graduated with a B.A. in Speech Communication and married Angie. Then the Vinnies moved to Boston where Bryan received his masters in 2005 from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Bryan's love language is food so he spends time working off the calories at the gym. He also loves the students at GSC and thinks they are amazing!

Pastor Joshua

Why are you involved in church? Well, I'm involved in church because I work in a church.  Just kidding:) I have a heart to serve God, and church is one of the main places to join with others who are also on this journey.

What are some of your passions? My passions include drums, guitar, and most kinds of music.  I also have a passion to go into the deeper things the Lord calls us too.  I'm not satisfied with the status quo, and think "the church" needs to passionately go deeper with the Lord.  I should also mention I  love basketball, golf, snow skiing and volleyball.

What are some of your favorite things? I'd have to give a shout out to my DW Drums, my Strat, and my Egnator amp.  These are a few of my favorite THINGS!

Family? My family includes my beautiful wife Amber of 10 years, three year old son Anderson, and to-be-determined crazy little one in Ambers belly.  I personally believe all people are crazy, and it only takes five minutes around a child to see it.  Children let you see the crazy in us all.

Favorite Books: I don't have many favorite books.  I loved The Shack, but I mostly read inspirational like Bill Johnson.  Not a big fan of reading fiction, cause I'd rather watch the movie!!

Favorite Music:  I like such a diverse set of music it's too hard to pick a favorite.  My favorite changes from day to day.  My favorite styles are Blues and Rock.

Favorite Movies:  Some of my favorite movies are Mr Deeds, Happy Gilmore, Braveheart, and The Matrix.  There are many more!!! I love movies.
